Women in Gaming Australasia is pleased to announce that Crown Resorts has joined as a Diamond Partner.
Women in Gaming Australasia (WGA) is the only industry body in Australasia dedicated to empowering women working in, or looking to work in, the thriving and fast-paced gaming industry.
Launched in May 2017, WGA supports the development and success of women in the industry through education, mentorship and networking opportunities.
“We welcome Crown Resorts as our first Diamond Partner” said WGA CEO Helen Galloway. “Crown’s commitment to gender equality within the gaming sets a great example and shows dedication and progression for diversity and inclusion within our industry.”
“Crown Resorts is highly committed to diversity and inclusion across our business to ensure all employees feel comfortable and confident in bringing their whole selves into the workplace.” said Crown Resort’s CEO, Barry Felstead. “A key focus of our diversity and inclusion programs is Gender Equity to promote empowerment and advancement through employment. Naturally, we were thrilled with the opportunity to support and engage with Women in Gaming Australasia as their goals and commitments align closely with those of Crown Resorts.”
Crown Resorts joins The Star Entertainment Group and Aristocrat, both founding partners as members of WGA.
Crown Resorts is one of Australia’s largest entertainment groups. The group’s core businesses and investments are in the integrated resorts sector.
In Australia, Crown Resorts wholly owns and operates two of Australia’s leading integrated resorts, Crown Melbourne Entertainment Complex and Crown Perth Entertainment Complex. Overseas, Crown Resorts also fully owns and operates Crown Aspinalls in London.
